Parent Weekly Update for the Week of January 13th

This week will be a four-day school week and an extended weekend.  There is no school for scholars on Friday, January 17th and Monday, January 20th.  Eagle Pride/Spirit Day will be on Thursday, January 16th.

The end of second quarter is Thursday, January 16th.  Please continue to monitor SchoolMax and inquire about any missed assignments that can be made up before the quarter ends!  We will recognize all Second Quarter honor roll and principal honor roll scholars on Friday, February 7th.   Honor Roll is awarded to 2nd-6th grade scholars with a GPA of 3.0 or greater with no grade lower than a C.  Principal Honor Roll is awarded to scholars with a 4.0 GPA and no grade lower than an A.  Individual and grade level second quarter attendance will also be recognized. K-1 Awards Assembly will be held on Thursday, February 13th.

Information and permission slips went home in Monday Folders regarding the IAPTO School Dance which will be held on Friday, January 24thThe Theme is “Glow In the Dark!”  The PTO is looking for volunteers.  Kindergarten-2nd grade dance is 3:00-4:30, Grades 3rd-6th is from 5:00-7:00.  There is no cost for PTO members and $4 for non PTO members.  Please consider joining the PTO for $5.  There are still several activities planned throughout the remainder of the school year!
