PGCPS APIP Spotlight 2017-2018 | Ashley Conwell




The PGCPS Assistant Principal Induction Program is proud to once again give our first-year assistant principals a warm welcome to administration within Prince George's County Public Schools( PGCPS)!
Our first OFFICIAL 2017-2018 Social Media Shout-out is Ashely Conwell!
Ashley Conwell is a graduate of University of Maryland, College Park. It is there where she received a Bachelors of Art in Communication and a Masters degree in Business and Administration. In addition, she earned her Administration I certification through a partnership with Prince George's County Public Schools and the University of Maryland.
In her twelve years in Prince George’s County she worked at William Beanes Elementary School, teaching grade levels second through fifth; while at William Beanes ES, she served as the Grade Level Chair, Math ILT, and Data Coach. She then transitioned to Melwood Elementary School as the International Baccalaureate Coordinator. As the IB Coordinator, she led Melwood ES to become the first IB PYP school in the county.
Currently, she serves as the Assistant Principal of Francis T. Evans Elementary School.
