"The purpose of principal coaching is not for self-understanding in and of itself.  It is to achieve a successful action."

I enjoy reading for professional growth, traveling, and volunteering in the community and at my Place of Worship. I am an active member of Delta Sigma ThetaSorority, Inc (a service organization) where I spend most of my time mentoring female middle school students through the Delta Academy. I am also an active member of each of my Alumni Associations.

I served as principal for eight years with Prince George's County Public Schools (Maryland) and Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools (North Carolina).

I am a twenty-five year veteran in public education (Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, Prince George's County Public Schools, and Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools) serving in the capacity of classroom teacher (CMS and PGCPS), Instructional Coordinator (PGCPS), Assistant Principal (PGCPS), Test Development Specialist (PGCPS), Regional Instructional Specialist (PGCPS), and Principal (PGCPS and WS/FCS).
