I would like
to thank all parents who attended our Back-to-School Nights this week.
Also,
thank you to all that supported our Fall Book Fair. The “In School” Book Fair has ended but you

Progress Reports were sent home on Thursday. This is a great opportunity
for you to review your child mid-quarter grades. Please consult with your
child’s teachers if you have questions regarding grades and/or
assignments. First Quarter ends on Friday, October 25. Report cards will be released on Thursday,
November 7.
On Monday, October 14, PGCPS will partner in education to support National Men Make a Difference Day for Academic Success. The theme for this year is “Turn 1 Day of Engagement Into a
Lifetime of Involvement.”
The goal of
National Men Make A Difference Day For Academic Success is to increase male
parental involvement in the lives of our students.
With a focus on
improving our partnerships with parents and strengthening our relationships
within our communities, on this date, we are encouraging fathers and
significant male role models to get involved in the lives of our children and
to volunteer within our schools.
If you are donating baked goods to the PTO for the Liberty Park Fall Festival an alternate drop off
