I am a native of Winston-Salem, NC. I am married with a beautiful bonus-daughter who is a graduate of Howard University . I also have an adorable Bichon Frise, CoCo Cotton. We call her CoCo!

I served as principal for eight years with Prince George's County Public Schools (Maryland) and Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools (North Carolina).
I am a twenty-five year veteran in public education (Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, Prince George's County Public Schools, and Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools) serving in the capacity of classroom teacher (CMS and PGCPS), Instructional Coordinator (PGCPS), Assistant Principal (PGCPS), Test Development Specialist (PGCPS), Regional Instructional Specialist (PGCPS), and Principal (PGCPS and WS/FCS).
